As summer reaches its zenith, the volleyball community of the Baltic States gears up for the eagerly awaited Volleyfest 2024. Set against the vibrant backdrop of Riga, this international volleyball tournament promises to unite enthusiasts from across the Baltics in a spectacular display of skill, sportsmanship, fun, and friendship.
Event Details: Volleyfest 2024 is slated for July 27, 2024, continuing the tradition of outdoor volleyball played on lush grass courts. The tournament will adhere to indoor volleyball rules and will feature 9 categories: Men A (advanced, by invitation only), Men B (beginners, novice), Women A (advanced, intermediate), Women B (beginners, novice), MIX (3 males + 3 females), U18 (born 2006-2008) girls/boys, and U15 (born 2009-2011) girls/boys.
A Look Back at the Last Event: The previous Volleyfest in 2018 was a resounding success, marked by thrilling matches and a festive atmosphere. It set a benchmark for what participants can expect this year—a day brimming with exciting games, abundant fun, and the sheer joy of volleyball. In 2018, we had a total of 69 teams participating, with the Estonian team “COOP Kilingi-Nõmme” clinching the Men’s A division and the Latvian team “Volejbola klubs Rīga MIX” triumphing in the Women’s A league. Who will emerge victorious this year?
Additional Activities: The tournament will culminate in an after-party at one of Riga’s premier party venues, with complimentary entry for each participant. Additionally, we have partnered with Tallink Hotel Riga to offer special rates for our participants.
